The English then turned this into a tradition. A tradition with the etiquette that has now been lost. Not many people know that there is a specific deadline to Aprils Fools’. Traditionally one is supposed to start their hoaxes in the morning and then end at noon. People who did not abide by these rules were considered fools themselves. I personally did not know this so my friends and I used all of April 1st to prank each other.
April Fools’ rather long history has become a tradition of spending time with your friends and playing hoaxes on each other. Perhaps this year you can play a fun joke on someone you want to strengthen your relationship with.
